Hi all,

I've had the lapstick in my hands and am really impressed by its smart design, small size and beautiful craftsmanship. I'm not sure if it would be allowed as hand luggage on planes, but if it is... You would not disturb your fellow travellers not only because of the size, but also because you can plug in your headphones.
It is designed by Phil who is a fervent guitar player since I met him in the mid 70s. I would often meet him in the city bus where he would be standing with his guitar. In confined spaces, guitars are obviously too big to do anything else but carrying it.
The idea for the lapstick might well have been conceived in those early days.

Anyway, I'll stop rambling now. Just wanted to vent my enthusiasm.

Yes, the Lapstick is allowed with your hand baggage on flights. I bring it on as carry-on all the time traveling in the U.S. and abroad. Occasionally, when going through the x-ray machine, security will then pull me aside to examine it more closely.

I agree never had an issue to take it onboard, I mostly fly with Singapore Airlines or Air Asia.

Good choice of lapstick, small and easy to carry, i tried the travel pro, good guitar but after 50 times of other passengers jamming their luggage on the guitar, i would lose patience. I didnt want to get kicked off the plane. regular guitars get frowned upon, good for once in a while, but i travel each week. Stewart fold away is excellent too. under seat storage. I love it for 4 or 5 day travel, on overnight stays, the guitar might get ignored when i work 16 hours that day. My lapstick will arrive soon and I will know more about it.
