Hi,
I received my Lapstick a couple of months and I'm very pleased with it. I was looking for a guitar to complement my mobile 'studio' consisting of an Asus 900 Eee pc running FL studio coupled with a Line 6 Toneport UX1 audio interface. The one thing missing was a way to sequence midi with a guitar (I'm a lousy keyboard player

).
I've owned a Roland Gr-20 guitarsynth in the past, but wasn't happy with the bulky gk3 hexaphonic pickup on my guitar. A few months ago I came across the Sonuus Gm-2 which is a plug and play monophonic guitar to midi converter running on a 9 volt battery. For some reason, the tracking with the Lapstick is far better than with my normal guitars. I recommend the Sonuus GM-2 to every guitar player looking for a relatively affordable way (98 euro's) to explore the world of midi guitar. The Sonuus is so small it could even be built into the Lapstick if taken out of its housing. Maybe this is an idea for a future Lapstick mod (Hint @ Phil)
